Harry Beauchamp Jr. (Shakes the Spear), an Assiniboine traditional dancer from Fort Peck Reservation, demonstrates and explains the ceremonial components of powwow regalia, including bustles, ribbon shirts, beaded moccasins, and dance sticks. He shares personal stories of sobriety, family adoption, hunting traditions, and the spiritual significance of eagle feathers. Beauchamp also recounts Assiniboine oral history regarding the Lewis and Clark Expedition's passage through their territory.
