Shortly After Got fair the hunters Came to the bank of the
River. the[y] kill* a bear brought the Skin left the Meat
as it was poor the Currant was Strong towe* Our boat
Untill we came to the head of the Strong watter Island whare
the watter run so rappid that the men of the french peirouge
Coul* not make headway by Roeing Or poleing the[y] had
to jump‘ out and push her through the water Incamp* On
the point of And Islanand Call‘ Strong water point Roe 12
