Arlene Adams, Ryan Woodcock, Sarah Wahl, and Wesley Pierre Sapiet, members of the Salish Language Immersion School and International Traditional Games Society, demonstrate and explain traditional Salish games including lacrosse, shinney, double ball, hoop and dart, stick and ring, and stick game. They discuss the cultural, spiritual, and physical purposes of these games, their origins, and efforts to revitalize Salish language and traditional knowledge among young people.
